Your Style, Your Wedding

Whether you're known for your love of designer clothes or for your extensive Vera Bradley bag collection, both of these loves allow for a wide variety of design ideas for your wedding.

While it might a little out of your budget to use actual Louis Vuitton or Gucci items as part of your decor, using the color scheme from your favorite designers is fantastic way to add to your decor. Use the recognizable gold and brown of Louis Vuitton as your table linen or bridesmaids dresses. A Louis Vuitton luggage cake is also a fun option.

To showcase your love of classic Coco Chanel, hang strands of pearls over the back of the chairs, incorporate them into your centerpieces or showcase them on your cake.

Pick your favorite Vera Bradley print and use that as your napkins or placemats. Draw out colors from that print to help choose your flowers, cake and other decor. The Puccini print is a great inspiration for a wedding. Pair a tangerine table runner with a dark brown table linen. Use with copper chargers and white flowers to add a little contrast while watermelon napkins finish the look.

Hot Cocoa Bar

With the cold winter season right around the corner, why not warm up your guests with a hot cocoa bar? A hot cocoa bar is the perfect way to get your guests mingling during the cocktail hour or at the start of the reception. It is also a fun way to send them home.

Use colorful mugs to tie in your color palette or use all different mugs to add to the effect of snuggling up at home with a hot cup of cocoa. Flea markets and garage sales are great places to find fun, unique mugs. Give your guests options and offer multiple flavors of cocoa. Milk, dark and white cocoa powder are three great flavors that guarantee guests will enjoy at least one!

Spruce up the options by offering a multitude of mix-ins. Marshmallows, chocolate chips, flavored syrups, caramel, orange rinds, peppermint sticks, cinnamon sticks and chopped up candy bars are just a few that will allow each guest to create their own unique creation. And don't forget, hot cocoa is not hot cocoa without the whipped cream!

We are exited to announce that CLM Weddings has partnered with a company who is based in Venice, Italy.

Patterns

A fun way to jazz up your weddings is to use patterns instead of sticking to solids. Patterns are great when used alone or when used along side solid colors.

A great way to incorporate patterns in your ceremony is to use them in your attire. Wear polka dot shoes or used patterned fabric to wrap the stems of the bouquets. Have the men of the bridal party wear patterned ties. Not only will they look great, it will give the guests a sneak peak to the reception.

Make a bold statement at your cocktail hour or reception by draping your tables in patterned linen. It's a good idea to choose a few tables to use the pattern linen on because using patterned linen on every table can be overwhelming. Using a few select tables will make the affect more dramatic.

Patterns make bold statement. Don't be afraid to use them! Checkerboard is great if the two of you love to go on picnics. Animal print will show off your love of animals or your wild side. It's your wedding! Go for it!
